Ola reads the rigtalk thread...

He nailed it. More community connection and a more personable channel. I hate he won’t consider interviews because he’s great at giving hangout vibes. My ownhammer IR comment gave him some pause - I simply don’t want to hear IRs ever on a professional gear channel.

Thank you for reading the comments, Ola! I fully support whatever it is you will come up with and I’m excited for the fresh new take on the channel!

The ONE TIME I don't put a smart ass comment in a thread I don't have a contribution for...

LMAO ..... he laughed at my comment ......
Which one? I :ROFLMAO: when he started his commentary but left the rig talk thread up in the background with the tan pants front and center. I bet everyone is wondering what those tan pants are all about. If he got 5,000 replies on the last video this forum should explode now.

I only commented once ...... he read it right before he left Rig-Talk in the vid ..... bahahahah

We havent gotten an influx of new members, but if we do, im blaming @Ola Englund for all the extra mod work :ROFLMAO:

He had my big ass post centered on the screen for like 2 minutes and didn't say a word about it! Ola how am I gonna get internet famous and springboard my amazing and totally hilarious posting into fame and fortune now? Gah!

In all seriousness hopefully he gets jazzed up about gear and the community again and posts more kickass gear / song / production stuff. That's always been what I watch his channel for.

yup ..... made me chuckle ...... it's funny watching other people view the Site and comment ... like when Dave Friedmen called the place Toxic ....
I just love how the psychopath* revealed that he uses the light mode. Dark mode for life!!!!!!!

*Not truly how the author feels, just a joke.

Going to Rigtalk to get advice on your YouTube channel is like going to the million man march in a klan robe. Surprised the comments were as mild as they were … historical evidence shows that the membership here is rough on the YouTube folks.

For real, I’ve been one of the lone defenders here of Ola and other YouTubers for years now, dudes better not try to switch it and act nice now, I know who you all are lol

I don't really follow any YouTube reviewers but I will watch some of Olas stuff if I need a general tone idea of an amp. I think he does a good job with keeping it entertaining. Best of luck to him.

It's all fun and games until some youtuber gets severely butthurt, then it's hilarious.

I jest thought.

Really I think Ola kind hit it with the community interaction; not him personally, but youtubers in general. A lot of them have lost touch with the community at large. Once that happens they start to come off a less genuine. And it doesn't help the situation that every new piece of gear they demo is the best thing ever until next episode's gear demo. Even if it's a response here and there, it can go a long way to show everyone you are listening and interacting and combat the disingenuous feeling.
