Again, I will say I am not in agreement with your assertion of being emotional. I 100% support being emotional where appropriate as it's part of every human's behaviour set. There is nothing wrong whatsoever with being emotional if that's how you need to express yourself at the time. But again, you have misread and that's generated your assertion.

Same, though I probably spend more time on here than I really need to. I could probably be more productive during the weekday, but I get my tasks done at work rather quickly and run out of shit to do. I at least try to watch/read some educational stuff, but that's not always what I'm in the mood to do. So I come to RT to kill time until something pops up.

I’m a carnivore, so I like brisket when properly executed. The problem is that it’s a shit cut of meat and is only good after hours and hours of effort - if you get it right. There are so many other cuts that are better. They might be pricier to purchase, but all in, you come out on top… YMMVI got the fire started. Almost brisket smoking time.

I like all those things. And burnt ends, thick pork steaks, bison, venison, catfish, crappie, gator, smoked wild turkey.
Still, I'll have maybe what amounts to a few hours of work into enough meat to last three plus people for a week of meals. Brisket sliced, brisket sandwiches, brisket chili, brisket tacos. And I'm in it for maybe $70...so, less than $10 per day. Even at inflated prices it's still a good deal. I like to do a couple each year.
That's strange to me. I would put a really good brisket up against a really good steak. Maybe you just haven't had good brisket. IME there is a ton of shitty brisket, even here in Texas. I've been to a couple places where it was little more than half assed roast beef.
