Not a tube guy other than for my own needs, I would refer you to Laura here on the forum. She rocks.
 
The "cool" guitar store near me has a sofa and projection TV in the main area with an old school Nintendo wired up to it. They've made it into a bit of a hang out area for staff/customers. I've seen dudes just sitting their and doing their homework.

I think they should start stocking beverages.
 
Awesome Brad! The only thing I can say is this....better be well funded. Most high end stores find out after a period of say 6 months that it takes a bunch of $3K guitars or amps to cover the nut of a killer location! Just food for thought when looking for a location.

Thanks Jeff and I know all about it, dont need to go fast and I am a slave to getting to the bottom line. Hell I might buy a warehouse by the airport and just work out of there. I am not looking for the walk in traffic and the true gear nuts will find me.
 
I know that you are primarily basing your new business from an internet standpoint. Best advice I can give you is base your store as if it was you wanting to buy something from your store. and it will be successful.
