Easy - my Deliverance 60

I have managed to get down to one amp, almost by accident, a Peavey Prowler. The main reason is that I can't seem to find the "one". The Prowler has nice cleans and takes pedals well, so I'm running a Dirty Bomb into it for high gain stuff. It's really a pretty good option, grab and go sort of thing.

I'm getting into building/modding so I'm putting off buying a head until I get that underway, in part to help fund things and in part because I'm confident that once I start I'll want to just built my "one".

I own a Peavey Prowler also (that has been converted into a head) and the thing rips - I'm surprised you aren't happy with the lead channels high gain tone! Have you tried just boosting the lead channel to tighten it up? It lovesss boosts and I have the clips to prove it

The clean channel is indeed stellar - in fact I prefer it over my roommates Twin Reverb. It's so 3d sounding and it doesn't get ice-picky like the TR.

Mark III Red Stripe...

I'll go with the MarkIII red stripe as well

I bought a red stripe new in the 80's. It really is a great amp ..... I like it much better than most of the amps built today. I feel it blows away almost all the high gain amps built now and none are better.

Thats how I feel about my VH4.
I love it! But there was something special in that Mark III red stripe I had.
Just has its own thing going on!

Easy there big guy...I've come to my senses..momentary lapse of reason (or just 3 needed minutes of firing it up and playing it). It aint going anywhere.

good thing you are sitting down: my Pignose G60VR, I love all the others, but this baby rocks, is portable, sounds great at low volumes or cranked (and it *will* crank with the Eminence V12 I put in it), and takes pedals *very* well.
