Apart from the Marshall I could say that what's wrong with the pic is that it's 2014 and that many people are watching Nuno play.

Nuno might be the most heard/watched "live" guitar player on the planet for the last 4 or 5 years.

Ask 1000 Rihanna fans who he is and maybe 2 will know
He might be on the record or stage, but he's neither seen or heard by Rihanna fans

It makes no difference, or change the facts, that Rihanna fans don't know the name of her guitar player.

Then don't imply that he's the most watched/heard guitar player on the planet because people chose to pay to hear/see him.

Someone that spoke w/ Nuno's tech stated that it was a back line Marshall. Now, in the past (pervious M3's) the back line amps were JCM2000 DSL's.

I also think that alot of what brought alot to the table with the 'old washed up bands' that the "NEW BANDS" dont have in common was MTV.
MTV used to play the shit out of the Hair bands back in the 80's. Today there are now video channels are there?
Everyone relies on the internet and streaming....yadda yadda....
maybe if the internet was available back in the 80's and we didnt have to rely on "NEW MUSIC" to be brought out with MTV EXCLUSIVE VIDEO runs. I used to get excited seeing new music and video clips thru MTV.
Today.....might be slightly different? Then again..maybe not.

One thing I can't stand about this forum is that you are forced to click on and read every single thread even if it is about a player or style you care nothing about.

Another thing I hate is when the OP doesn't write who the artists he wants to talk about is in the title so I could avoid it if it wasn't my bag. I hate going in blind.

I also hate when other people are enjoying themselves and talking about a player or style that they really enjoy but that I don't like in a thread and they don't realize how important I am and that my opinion really, really, really must be heard. Because did I mention how important I am and how valuable my opinion is?

I also love when people like to bag on guitar players that absolutely can smoke them into oblivion.

And the last thing for now. I hate when people choose to listen to, attend concerts and spend their own hard earned money on whatever they choose to spend it on. I could make much better choices for them.

Even in their prime, Extreme didn't sell out arenas. I like Nuno's playing, always have but not enough to care about his hired gun duties with Rihanna. Maybe Rihanna saw Pink's Justin Derrico and decided she needed a shredder too? Who knows.

agreed..not sure what is going on with those two guys trying to outsling each other. They are both buried in the mix. I bet a lot of her fans leave there thinking "WTF was that noise?" Nuno does look like he is just throwing notes in for the sake of it as well which is very uncommon for him. God bless rig talk for allowing me to be a complete music snob
