Now, seriously. I cant beleive that most of the people are consider clones and look-a-likes better in term of quality and reliability. I have a lot of experience with Marshall amps, and MOST reliable within all of their ampss were (are) 80's JCM800 2203/2204. Look for old JCM800, thank me later.

Check out some of fusionbear's amps on TGP and You Tube. I don't know who he is, but he does some 2204 inspired builds that I think sound pretty good. Gut shots look really nice too.

I have a 2012 2203X coming in a few days... they sound great and will out live you and me. The ST-1 board used on these has been used since the 70's and is bullet proof.
