I don't know. It sounded like you were saying all Christians are morons based on your experience with three people at Starbucks who were passing out pamphlets on end times.

No, based on my whole life actually.

oh, I see. I guess I'm a total moron.

Sorry, you're so pissed off and bent out of shape about other peoples' beliefs. :aww: :aww:

No, its when people feel I need "help or guidence" or need to be "saved" simple because of how I look.
meh, I've had that happen and I am a christian. when I told them, they did not believe me because of how I looked. I just shake it off. They mean well, but it is annoying to be judged by how you look. Not all of us are like that. A bunch of folks here have been banned from there. I think we have more freedom here. Brad runs a good ship :D I have discussed everything under the sun here, and never had a problem. carry on ;)

For the record. I'm a christian.
Now, christians shouldn't try to force their beliefs on other people. Jesus didn't force his beliefs on anyone. Actually people forced themselves on Jesus for good and bad purposes. It's ok to try and spread the word of God but if someone isn't interested then it's time to leave them alone. God gives everyone free will. The problem lies in the fact that most christians don't read their Bibles. They rely solely on a preacher (that may or may not be right in his doctrine). Christians need to read the Bible for themselves. When they read it they'll also find out it's not right to judge anyone by their looks, how they wear their hair, what clothes they have, how much money they do or don't have, what race they are etc....

Exactly my thoughts too.

Dont feel bad. This is not the real world. I have been banded from at least 5 forums including this one. You have to be an asslicker so everyone will like you on the internet. Fuckm and Fuckm Hard
Complete Bullshit

Why does everyone who gets banned at HC post an "I got banned at HC" thread on Rig-Talk?

H-C...  Just register with a new name to sell your gear...idonthave24frets or something. nobody will notice :D

IMHO, when you speaks about politics and religion, things *can* get heavy and lots of flamming can happen. and nobody listens to others people point ov view (when it's not the same. ) That said, I'm actually against religions myself, unless thoses who keep it for themself.

never really been a fan of religion. dropped a religious class in college at the beginning because i got so bored.

Not to stir up the pot any, but I think you're talking all New Testament stuff. There's a healthy dose of folks out there who are all about the Old Testament fire and brimstone, vengeful intolerant god BS. I personally don't jive with any of that; I just think some people want (or expect) life to be full of retribution, and they facilitate it in any way they can. These are the folks who give good Christians a bad name.

I don't blame religion for this in the slightest; rather, I'd say most of these people are a product of their upbringing. Religion is just one tool they use to express their inherent personality, for good or bad.

There are a lot of awesome folks out there trying to model their lives like Jesus. Sadly, I think they're few and far between these days.

My friend and tattoo artist made about 300 pamphlets that were "Have you accepted Satan in your life?"

They were absolutely incredible.

Meh people are people, I just dont like people in general so...yeah.

Yeah. I can't imagine why anyone would ban you for that attitude.

Nah. Just don't be an ass-hole. Be accountable for your actions like you would in face to face encounters and you'll be fine. Saying you have to be ass-licker is just making excuses, IMO.
