What took him so long?

It took literally 4 minutes to sell my XTC, slightly longer to wrap up the power amp

Barzini - it's flamed Jarrah and has already been ordered re: that Komutt Clone of yours - will it do AxeFx sounds ????

I much prefer DI into FOH over SS power amp into a guitar cab. But my preference is tube power amp, VHT 2-50-2 specifically into my cab as well as DI into FOH.

Do you set the Axe up differently for each output?

Or does the FOH get the same signal as your cab?

Nope completely different EQ, and some of the stuff I use in FOH I don't use on the cab and vice/versa. Usually no delay on FOH.
Plus I usually have a volume boost that affects only the cab.

i want to be blown away by this thing when i try it for the first time.
i'm pretty sure the effects will be on a par with the gforce or better

and i already have a strategy formulating for what i would do for power

About 15 ms for patch changes with my foot switcher.
The virtual pedal board depends on your controller. On my T-Rex I have it set with 10 prest switches and 6 cc switches that are linked in order to...
tempo, od1, od2, chorus/trem, delay, pitch. plus pedals for volume and one with auto engage for wah or whammy depending on preset.
Also some switches in some presets are set to work double duty like turn on volume boost on the output.
Or another preset a pedal pans between amp models,and on the low gain model it has chorus and delay which fades out going to the low gain range of the high gain model then fades the delay back in for lead stuff and kicks in an od. I've taken this another step by using a clean model, a THD Flexi for crunch and then a gain model for over the top stuff.

both are global eq1 for foh, global 2 for cab.
I start with a 0 db boost/cut across the board and usually bump up bottom on the cab and cut mids, and cut the last 3 bands on foh by 1-3 db.

Do you recommend turning off the cab sims if he is going through a regular guitar cabinet, or do you use those as well ?
