Cabinet for EVH 5150 III Stealth 100W

So first you're going on and on and on about you're more cautious with your gear and make sure your speakers have more than enough power handling. Now you're here bragging about pushing them to their limits. This is why everyone calls you out on being full of shit and not knowing what you're talking about. All you do is repeat what you heard idiots on TGP say.

I'm sure you did turn heads. People were trying to figure out where that god-awful noise you were making with the microcube was coming from.
In either case I never used below needed power handling. The amp was 50 watts and the cabs in both instances had more power than the amp. The EVH 212 is 60 watts with G12H30 a Bad Cat with two UK V30s is 120 watts.

With an an EVH 100 Watt head and the matching 412 cab youre using 80 watts to run a 100 Watt head and if you believe it's a 100 watt cab fine then..... You are using the bare minimum power requirements.

In any case as said its just mindful and makes sense to be aware of this for the safety of players rigs/gear.

If someone started a thread that was "i'm a gigging player, and I run an absolutely cranked marshall major for power amp saturation for my bands signature sound, I'm thinking about loading a 2x12 with two 12 watt jensen P12Rs"

Then your comment would have made all the sense in the world

The problem is that is not the question that the OP asked
Right on.

In either case there really isnt harm in just bringing this up for OPs consideration if they ever did decide to crank it or others reading in similar situations.

Some play at home and still crank it too or if you ever did decide to it would be good to be aware of this and not having a false safety net believing there to be no risk when there is.

Maybe its just an abundance of cautiousness on my side but IME and IMO it's best to be on the safe side and be aware of these things for safety.

Do you have any clue how retarded and full of shit you sound? No need for you to respond, the answer is obviously you have no clue.

I'm here speaking common sense regarding basics and fundamentals of power handling and using the proper wattage in regards to safety of ones rig/gear.

And you are here raging over that and very upset over it for no reason..... 👍

It's painfully obvious you have very little understanding of what you are saying. You display all the telltale signs of someone with no first hand experience and is just parroting what you've heard others say. So please stop handing out your ill informed advice before some unsuspecting noob follows it and fucks up their gear.

Look, You're technically not wrong. But it's painfully obvious you have very little understanding of what you are saying. Right on and yeah technically I'm not wrong here and it's not bad to be safe. Its less about being wrong or right and just being aware of this and being safe.

Sometimes it's taken for granted but IMO and IME it's best for players in general to be aware, don't take using the proper power handling required for granted and keep your rig and gear safe and most importantly have fun *_*

Blah blah blah repeat repeat repeat.
Gat damn man give it a rest.
Modern Greenbacks are 25 watts. Look it up.
What was pointed out is that the EVH Greenback is the same one, different label.
Celestion purposely wrote "20" to maintain historical accuracy.
Was that a dumb thing to do? Sure.
Does it make people like you want to argue forever? I guess. :dunno:
You make it seem like 100w cab is the bare minimum too. He's a bedroom player - AND HE WILL BE FINE WITH THE EVH 4x12.
FUCK! You have vaginal distress. Go wank on your bad cat.

12 pages in ...... on a question about if a 100 watt rated cab ( by the manufacturer not by Celestion themselves ) is OK to run with a 100 watt head built by said manufacturer ....

the poor OP must think the Earth is flat at this point and is looking for a tall glass of Kool -Aid .........

The problem is he came here to ask people that know. Your mickey mouse explanation could be found on google. It is basic shit that is technically right, but in practice, not applicable.

Then you fight to the death that you are right because you can multiply 20x4. I know that you may be the only one at the pizzeria that can do that, but it is mickey mouse math and not pertinent to a real conversation.

Are you seeing a pattern? Your broad knowledge base is all basic shit. That isn't even close to the realm of expert, yet that is how you present yourself.

When you brought up your mickey mouse opinions and mickey mouse math, that was ok. But when others desperately try to make you understand how it is not really a problem, you attack them for not being able to do the maths that seem to impress you.

The point is you are a joke. You just aren't that funny.

You know how we are always making the laughing emoticon on your posts? We aren't laughing with you daniel
Don’t try brother, waste of time, he likes this shit

I made some valid points and well even Griff agreed it's a valid point. Even Hatter said hey technically I'm not wrong. You are here presenting Internet myh/Forum myth......

Didn't mean anything by it or mean to make others upset, just wanted to make the point out of safety for others and their rig/gear. No harm no foul.......

The only thing you were technically not wrong about is about a higher watt speaker can handle more output from an amp. You're completely clueless otherwise and just parroting wha you've heard others say; no real experience.

Now shut the fuck up imbicile.

Well yeah again I'm not here arguing 2+2=5 like you are or not sure what so don't mind me.

I'm here stating 2+2=4 and 4x20=80 not 100...... This is just basic addition and multiplication and basic maths and again nothing to be upset about or all that hard to understand.

I don't manufacturer the speakers and neither does Fender/EVH and this is just based on Celestions specs, the actual manufacturers rating for these 20 watt EVH speakers. In either case for OP if they don't crank it and play at home or shouldn't be an issue but something for him and others that do use these cabs to be mindful of in regards to basic safety.

Why don't you..... Again you are here arguing nonsense and ignoring fact....... In favor of internet myths/forum myths..... Don't you use Physics daily, how hard is it to understand basic multiplication and addition now.....

No need to be upset or angry man..... Youre just some alcoholic/drunk posting now 😂

Take an Uber and don't drive bro...... You could barely post something.....

My apologies for bringing up basic maths, addition and multiplication nvm basic safety and fundamentals you and others here seem to not care about and ignore. In any case OP should be fine being mindful of how hard he pushes the amp so again no harm no foul :dunno:
