Thanks. I don't play out, but this thing always grabs eyeballs when I show it to people. My favourite guitar, and the one piece I hope I never have to sell for whatever reason.

I imagine you do all your own fret work so having a backup for those luthier moments isn't as much of a necessity.

If I didn't, I would have picked a stainless steel fret guitar for my "one guitar" because I practice a lot

Like, 1-3 hours a day of woodshedding with a metronome, not counting band practice or dicking around writing stuff alot

I'm with you. I'm due for a dressing on the 335 already. Not even a year in. That was averaging 3 hour days plus gigs and rehearsals. I actually been burnt out on practice lately just because march-july was a slog. Trying to ramp back up for Sept and Oct trips but I'm still kinda fried. I wish I knew how to do fretwork but unfortunately I still gotta hang onto a 2nd guitar for those moments. Consider yourself lucky to be able to cut it down to one guitar and survive. Wish I could do the same.

Long game is definitely stainless for me on ol' #1.

I don't think people who have lots of guitars or don't practice as much realize how much of a boon stainless can be for people like us

Being able to dress frets and do work is a great backup, but it is as advertized, "work"

I actually like doing all my work on a single guitar rather than jumping to other axes all the time so I def wish everything sold today came with stainless.

There are a lot of sweet axes out there, axes that can be every bit as good, but the Les Paul is the greatest solid body electric of all time when you consider all the factors. Turn your speakaz up loud and have a nice day.

It's a master class. There are moments when heavy reverb is warranted. I would say that is one of them since he is doing his best to cop an early BB King vibe.
