Cornford Amps ~ Nice

To me for both tone and feel, SLO, Avenger, JCA stuff are very close to the Cornford.
First time I played the SLO I couldn't believe my ears. I thought I was back home playing through my MK. Sure there's a few differences in mids etc but still. very much in the same ball park..

I was surprised to hear that Mark Cameron said he would play Cornford if he didn't mod amps... To my ears, Cornford tone sounds nothing like a Cameron mod or CCV amplifier.

You figure he'd play a Mesa Mark III since his amps were just Boogie's with a Marshall headshell.

I've owned Cornfords and Camerons for years, and if you're not setting the Camerons to kill (saturation wise), there are a lot of similarities.

MK is more similar than the Hellcat; I found the Hellcat to be way more saturated than the MK.
