I have only played a handful of John's guitars, never owned one.

What I can tell you about John is that he is one of the nicest people I have dealt with. We exchanged several emails about a non Suhr guitar I was having trouble with, and John did more for me than the manufacture did.

I don't know any other CEO that would go out of their way to help someone on a guitar they didn't even make.

Just so you know, I agree with you on everything that you said about John. I too have spoken with him several times and I couldnt agree more. Forget about his customer service and anything guitar related, I found John to be a total Standup guy and didnt mean for my post to infer anything different.

Like I said, I love his guitars and LOVE the SS Ltd but just have a very hard time with that price. I dont see it being worth more than 2600 at best but thats just me... Im not trying to insult the guy in the least .

Not digging the guitar myself, but I didn't like the looks of the Peavey Triple XXX either.

And I agree its price too rich for my blood.

Kage, I didn't think anything you wrote came across in any way offensive.

I agree more than you know about the pricing of most gear. One of the reasons I don't own a Suhr, is the model I would want cost more than I am prepared to spend.

I have no doubts about the quality, I just have a hard time spending that much on a single guitar.

I wish I had the coin set aside for that sweet standard Hoff is selling.

That guitar needs a rosewood board like dem boobies need more silicone...maple please! And I agree, it seems moderately, especially in regards to features.
