They're the same price new. The reason the Traditional is more expensive on the used market is because there are a lot less of them out there. Te OS was the standard for so long that the market is simply saturated at this point

Oh, I see. Maybe some discount being applied, didn't check that.

To me and what I like, the Mesa OS cabs are the best.
Also I’d like to add that I have 2 OS 4x12s and one OS 2x12, I play thrash and “flubby” is not at all what they are

I like my Mesa OS slant. It’s what I got. Never had a straight or traditional.

The projection aspect of the slant when standing in front makes sense.

Man they are both sick. I can only comment on micing them up. But the OS is much more open and thick but almost just as tight under a mic as the traditional. Not something you are going to listen to and be like “man I wish it was tighter”… that’s just not gonna happen i don’t think. The traditional is more mid forward, can sound boxy if you really wanna throw adjectives around, compared to the OS. But not bad by any means, they are both GREAT. I don’t think you can go wrong with either. If I was playing live a lot, I’d probably go traditional simply because it isn’t as big sounding in the room and sounds more focused. Under a mic though, it’s a different story: the OS is huge and focused, but just different.
