New AMP. Way bettah than yours!

If anyone did a blind fold test theres no way that they'd say, "oh wow that sounds like a completely new amp I've never heard before".

It sounds good with Ola playing it. But doesn't really sound like my thing. And the front panel looks ridiculous.

Anytime I see buttons, It turns me off. Also, it is a bad sign when the clean channel is the only one that sounds appealing

It sounds good, but nowhere near 5k good IMO

Compared to other things in that price range it just doesn't distinguish itself enough

If I heard that with my eyes closed I might have assumed it was a KSR vespa preamp with a poweramp or something

By no means bad sounding, just nowhere fucking near wizard/larry/etc money

Saw this on my Facebook wall. To my ears it sounds like Ola playing Ola's riffs on a new piece of gear Ola's demoing. Which means he always sound the same whatever he plugs in. Which is not bad as he is a solid player but I never understood the hype behind the videos he posts.

I like ola, and his playing - we have vastly different influences and likes/dislikes, so Im not going to see eye to eye on gear with him for the most part but he seems pretty legit compared to the average "influencer". Like, he actually plays in bands and stuff, and doesn't fake his playing so people think he's the second coming of saint malmsteen like the rings of saturn guy or manuel gardner fernandez.

I do not however, dig this amp (especially at this price point)

A lot of influencers play in bands but none of them seem particularly good. I generally look at blues oriented stuff and while there are a few good players none of their bands are worth a crap. In fairness to them most of the non-influencer blues bands aren't very good these days.

That's not true of Ola at all - The Haunted rip, and have done so for decades now

That's cool. I can't say I listen to much metal.

I'm thinking of people like your favorite Marty Music, Rabea, in the blues, Matthew Scott, Chris Buck, stuff like that. Some of them are good players but as you know running a band is more than just guitar chops alone and not much I've seen of their actual music is anything I would listen to. Plus I want to punch guys still playing Little Wing and that probably includes all of them.

Every single one of those guys write insufferably bad music

Even when, like in the case of rabea, they seem like nice dudes or whatever

That's one of the really tragic parts of this new "influencer era" is that the new guitar heroes have no talent to go with their 10 thousand hours. It's just the 10 thousand hours of practice.

Back in the day, that was where the rubber met the road; everyone knew half a dozen guys on their block who could shred. The real separation was guys who could rock.
