I have had bogner cabs for years and years... Those and VHF were my faves for like forever.


So far I have dumped two bogner cabs after getting the Friedman. I had bought another bogner cab with the Friedman but I took it back and bought another Friedman this week. I still have a new uber cab that is collecting dust for a while now... I just love the smoothness of these cabs. The bogner I took back with all v30's was kind of woofy.

I'd expect the V30 one to be woofy, but isn't that the case with any V30-loaded cab (given the heads you're running, of course). That's been my experience too. It's one of the reasons I've gone with the Marshall T3987 V30's to brighten them up a little. Even with that change, I prefer the EVH-loaded Bogner at high volumes.

But even that being said, wow... Bogner cabs have just been the grail for me for years as well. I'll have to try a Friedman one day.
