I really like older Behemoth recto-tones,,,,,,,and Six feet Under too.

I think he used a MP-1 and Quadraverb in the early days, and a Triaxis and G-Force in the later days. I think I remember reading that...

The main point I was getting at, is that most of the things people have posted are either not very good music or they aren't recorded with rectos lol

I'll concede Nevermore's DHIADW album, i do remember JL saying that was done with rectos.

It's crazy though that like 90% of the examples people have posted either arent rectos or aren't very impressive tones or musically

Given the rectos status as like a god tier metal amp you would have thought it would be easier to name a bunch of examples

Seriously? I’ve always heard they used Rectos, from multiple people.

My whole life is a lie! Ok maybe not but what a weird thing to learn.

Always thought testament the gathering was pretty impressive as a straight in recto. Nevermore with sneap of course. Cannibal corpse tones with it are awesome, kill is so brutal (some might say harsh), but I like how it wasn’t safe and just a real raw sounding angry album.

Aborted has used a recto almost exclusively for years and has some pretty insane sounding shit.

Alluvial Wes uses that racktifier he’s used forever

I know btbam used Jen’s bogrens rev c quite a bit.

Whitechapel of course

Did they use Rectos? Was under the impression they used Mark amps on that one.
Tones were great though on that album.

I always thought they used Rectos for the early albums
