I was in the same boat. I'm down to two Charvels (one is a pro mod I put away for my kids) one Strat and one Les Paul. Feels good to basically have 3 guitars. With that said, I really only play only one guitar...my white Charvel.

I've sold a lot of amps too. I'm down to a CCV, 2C++, Cameron Aldrich modded Marshall and two stock Marshall Super leads that I never play. lol. I have some rack stuff too. Haha. I could live with the 3 amps and never want anything else.

How about you? Still have a ton of amps?

I tried to keep no more than 15 guitars (not including bass, bass rig & acoustics), 3 amps, and 3 cabs. I struggled with this for years. Recently I went through a reverse GAS phase and started getting off on selling stuff. I'm down to 8 guitars, 1 amp and 1 4x12 (in addition to my Axe Fx II w/FRFR cabs). I also sold about 15 pickups, 3 bodies, and 4 necks. I love all the extra space.

Now i need to get rid of about 75 tubes.

Hello Pete!! I too would love having extra space in the new music room! What amp did you keep?

Well you guys clearly have a problem (jk), I'm at 15 (?) but would love to get to 7-8. On the other hand I just bought another Tv (LG oled), my 3rd in 4 years- so there's that...

I bought a 55" LG OLED display model but, sold it to a friend as I couldn't stand the thought of my bedroom TV looking better than the living room one. Thank Goodness I am not a new TV addict! Things would be very very bad!! With TV's it's once every 5 years but, now that they are phasing out 3D I'm going to have to get one years end.

I have gone through a lot of cool amps the past 5 years or so but, thankfully don't really have a problem selling amps like I do guitars.

I'm cool pretty cool with the amount of amps I have now (except for needing to sell a spare Mesa subway and a fire breathing EL84 boutique head) but, not the amount of cabs. I still have my VHT Ultra Lead, Flexi-50 and Mesa Triaxis rack from before but, now also have a 101B and a 50 watt 5150 III. I have 5 4x12's and EIGHT 2x12/1X12's and I definitely want to cut that number in half!

Hello all! Haven't been around lately but, have started to playing more and more lately so why not jump back into to rigtalk while I'm at it

Anyways, I've been saying I need to sell some guitars for YEARS and I finally took the plunge! I sold 2 Ibanez, 1 Baker, 1 Jackson and 1 Gibson... And I wasn't struck by a thunderbolt or anything!! Now I have to select another 7 or so to sell and I'll drop down to my first milestone goal of 30 guitars. Then the thunderbolts will strike me at that point because my ultimate goal is 20 and I honestly don't know how I'll be able to choose the final 10 to go

Who else is in the same boat? You know, the you don't play X amount of guitars but, you can't part with them either boat?

Daaaammmmnnn! I may show this to the wife to get her to settle down, lol. I'm down to 10 and that includes a few POS like my squier/low-end cordoba/schecter and my (nice) mia jbass.

I mean really only 6 if we're talking my "real" guitars lol. I sold off a couple charvels a few years ago to fund a motorcycle and kinda wish I'd held on to 'em ugh
