All of the forum people have some awesome amp heads & guitar rack systems on this thread! My Suhr Bella 1x12 combo amp for my Top 40/rap/hip hop cover band and an Hombre loaded with a Celestion Creamback 65 speakerfor my Elvis tribute band.

Last couple gigs was a Laney GH50L. Going forward, whenever the return to a stage happens, it will be either the Morris UK 67, or what I've got him lined up to build me next.

Nothing too crazy, just doing an "Un"Brownout. Full voltage Plexi with his tweaks. In Pink to pair with my Purple 67.

I was at a shop recently and had the opportunity to play a Friedman Plex 50 for the first time and was like "I guess this is where I find out if I made the right choice."

I would make the choice of any of the Morris amps I've had or played over that thing everytime. I've got my mini SLO as a toy amp just for cheap fun, but I really don't see myself getting too excited about anything else. Dipping my foot into the Morris pool was the best decision I ever made with gear.

Until recently, it was an EVH 5150 III Stealth half stack. If and when I get back in a band, it will probably be my BE-50 and a 212 cab.

As noted in my post above I've just bought an 80 lb 100W 2x12 Marshall JVM410C combo as a "small" alternative. So I'll go with primerib's defintion of small as I put it on my bathroom scales and it's still *slightly* less than just my Diezel head in it's flight case.

Admittedly it was originally supposed to be a nearer 50 lbs 50W 1x12 combo like a DSL40 or something, but I got feature creep.

If I'm going out for a gig & need a cab on-stage this is what I'm grabbing. I've other, more expensive stuff but I don't like the idea of hauling those around anymore (risk of damage, heavy etc.). This little thing can hang with any tube amp I've ever laid hands on & the loudest drummer I've ever met.

depends on the venue. For bigger stages\venues, i take my Synergy Syn2 rig, been using the Tone King and Ecstasy modules, sometimes the Ecstasy gets replaced with the BE Deluxe. Small gigs, either my Syn20IR with the Ecstasy or BE module. If the mood strikes, I'll take my 67' bassman.

I looked into Vegas recently cause I was told there is decent blues scene there and a friend of mine was traveling there frequently for gigs. There seems like there are a few venues for blues that are bolstered by casino gigs but once I looked into the corporate side of things it didn't seem like my cup of tea at all. Dress codes and other retarded stuff is a turn off to me.

Just be sure to wear your best Santana clothes and you won't have dress code problems.

it's 2026, I'm older. I haven't had any interest in gigging again since about 10+ years ago; played my first paying gig at 14, my last at 32.

I won't even speculate what I'd use if I was gigging today since that ain't happening, much would depend on the music, the venues and the travel area. I have better (and more) gear than ever, and even less reasons to own most of it than ever before.

If I knew that every venue we gigged at would have an amazing P.A., I'd have a pedal, etc with an XLR out and be done.

Our last gig, the other band was all digital and the venue had just bought a new board. It took a full hour for them to figure out how to get their sound working.
