I just went to the Sweetwater website and I have to say that I love the clean lines of the new gloss black LTD 201 series of guitars. Great bang for the buck...even with a pickup replacement your all in around $600 - $650

I hope that's not the case...that would be strangeMaybe just something funny going on in the pics but the front of the headstocks look matte, seems like a weird thing to do if so.
In any case, hopefully this is the end of the matte trend from the past few years.

I prefer simple centered dots or blocks as well. Some of those guitars look cool but man… is it just me or am I the only guy around who kinda can’t stand off-center inlays? They seem to be trending hard these days and every time I play one it just hits me that I can’t stand them for some reason.
I’m with you. I don’t like the offset markers. Some of those guitars look cool but man… is it just me or am I the only guy around who kinda can’t stand off-center inlays? They seem to be trending hard these days and every time I play one it just hits me that I can’t stand them for some reason.
I was expecting MUCH more, especially for the 50th anniversary. Prices are shocking enough tho
Yea prices still aren't great. I think the last few years they've been doing the LTDs and Signatures first, maybe still backlogged on the production MIJ stuff. Should still have something at NAMM alongside those decked-out exhibition guitars.I was expecting MUCH more, especially for the 50th anniversary. Prices are shocking enough tho
