Thanks bruddah! I used a Duncan 59 for that clip. Ive been experimenting with other pickups and guitar the amp really takes on a different vibe. It's a great amp IMHO ! Hope all is well!!

ralph i think the yjm is a great amp and one of the best amps marshall has released in a long time, i thought it had the right amount of gain, i used it with a marshall cab and a prs cu24 and played it for about a hour, i tried it at different volumes and thought it sounded pretty damn good and had a nice feel to it. good luck with your new amp business.

I agree with you 100% on everything you said. They did a killer job with these and I think Marshall has been doing a great job because I think now more then ever they offer an amp that should suite many people playing styles/preferance!

Marshall is back period, since 2007 they have been delivering the goods and you can get them at below boutique prices Can you amagine if these were around in the 80s?!?!?!?!?!? Can you say Jose who??????????????????? Getting plexi tones without blowing the 1st ten rows away, built in studio verb, scaling, boost, etc? Shit...................................

Funny how it took Yngwie to get this amp as well as the Slash since that amp is Yngwie's sloppy seconds design wise.

It's been a rough 3 weeks for me brother. Everyone at work is sick as a dog and I have already caught 2 colds and a stomach virus in the last 3 weeks hahahaha! I feel like walking into work with a 3m mask on now!!

if we had the stuff in the 80's that we have now I would have had a smile from ear to ear. This is an amazing time for guitar players especially with all the amazing gear comming out!

Definitely check out this amp, I think that you will be pleasantly surprised!
The amp cleans up pretty well to by rolling off the volume knob. I could see gigging with this amp no problem

ok , now I heard the 3rd clip , that's much more basic, but too much sauce! Just some basic playing demos without the fx.. . yea right he says! You can even lie and say somone else was the player, instead of having to publicly dumb-down your playing! lol

I will most definitely be doing better clips and I wont be just wailing away like the few clips I just did hahaha! Given that I was sick It was just easier for me to stick a Mic in front of the cab, hit record and wail away like an Idiot hahhaa!!

on another note, The 3rd Dark clip is completely Dry. I know it sounds like it has effects but it doesn't I just doubled tracked all the parts and that's giving it that effected sound. For lack of a better description the amp has that cranked Marshall fizz that adds to the thickness of the tone. When I listened back to the rhythm clip on the third track, it sounded as if I added verb or something but I swear it's bone dry.

I'll post more clips very soon!

If you dig the Marshall vibe then This amp sounds great right out of the Box. I know I sound like a broke record but I would have killed to have had something like this years ago!
