I am literally standing 2 feet away from Rick Nielsen‘s Guitar Collection right now

Cheap truck is playing in the town that I live in tonight and I am here at the venue and I am literally standing like 2 feet away from Rick Nielsen‘s Guitar Collection. I could literally grab one of these guitars and play it right now.

I dare you

Sweep the leg.... Run fast.

That's pretty sick. Love the amps in particular. Checkered Fuchs. Those Marshalls and custom rack mounted Deluxe Reverbs

Nice! I had a similar experience with Frampton back in the 2010'ish range. Hung out in the guitar pit with his tech for a show. Cool stuff, but your pics are on a different level for sure.

Love Cheap Trick and Rick is a badass and guitar aficionado! First album I ever bought in the 70s was Cheap Trick Live at Budokan and didn't even know much about them. Great photos and enjoy!

Are my eyes seeing a Les Paul with an Explorer headstock?

Didn't Aldo Nova have one of those? It was either something rare or possibly re-necked, I forget.

That's a lot of guitars for the road. I wonder how many he has at home.

That is one of the original ones from the 70s cause it has the closed O, 70s Gibson logo on it

Not there

[rsm]

@VonBonfire could rack his main and spare amps like this. looks like an 8U could work for two, so a 4U for each?

[rsm]

Not there

probably needs special transport? looks like he takes 20 guitars for his "small touring rig"

My cousin, older than me by 27 years grew up with them. Went to same School and she is still friends with them to this day. I met them when I was around 12 years old near the peak of their fame when I was visiting her with my mom. They are genuinely great people, very humble. Meeting Rick helped inspire me to get my first guitar.

That's as awesome as you can get.

Cam anyone identify the pedals that are in the rack?
