I am literally standing 2 feet away from Rick Nielsen‘s Guitar Collection right now

That's a lot of guitars for the road. I wonder how many he has at home.

Cheap truck is playing

Typo worth fixing BRENT

Where's the five neck guitar?

My guess is his age might be making that more difficult to wield. Straight guess tho

My cousin, older than me by 27 years grew up with them. Went to same School and she is still friends with them to this day. I met them when I was around 12 years old near the peak of their fame when I was visiting her with my mom. They are genuinely great people, very humble. Meeting Rick helped inspire me to get my first guitar.

They were from Rockford, IL. I saw them for the first time in Champaign/Urbana. Got to shake Robin's hand. About as close as I ever got to them. I'd rather be in Brent's shoes.

I saw them at a local theater ~25 years ago. Robin hung out at a small Irish bar across the street for about an hour before the show started 😀.
Watched an interview with Rick recently, although I’m not sure when it was filmed, where he showed a bunch of the iconic guitars, talked about Hamer, etc. Some looked really beat - real world relic jobs - and he said they weren’t museum pieces. They get played 👍

Probably one of the best Rick Nielsen interviews out there. Tons of rare guitar talk and an immense amount of cheap trick history in there too…not to mention tion a trip to ricks guitar layer where he stores some of the rarest of the rare guitars ever made

Just when you think YOU spend too much on gear, or your collection is too big, in steps Mr Nielson to say "Hold my Beer."
