If anyone can justify it, its him haha

Not the one youre thinking of, sorry

I don’t think anyone knows what happened to him
He’s over at TGP. I asked him a while back to check in here but he wasn’t too interested

That’s not his collection, 😂 that’s like him giving you a penny and you saying he gave you his fortunes. That dude’s collection is bigger than some guitar shows 🤣
If you find any "ToneNerd" pickups in Japan, can you please send me a link?

Rick's late (RIP Larry!) tech was an acquaintance of ours. I have pictures of my wife holding a few of his guitars. Rick was very gracious to us.

First time I saw Cheap Trick live was for the All Shook Up tour at the Inglewood Forum. It was notable for me in that the power when out during the intro to the first song. Took a while for them to fix. Secondly, my friend's dad got so drunk, he passed out. We walked home from Inglewood to East Los Angeles.... My friend's dad didn't come home until late the next evening... doh!

I was 14 years old at the time...

I saw Cheap Trick a few years ago in Las Vegas. We had VIP passes and hung out back stage. They sounded great, but it was evident that the years have taken a toll on Rick, Tom, and Robin. It was great to see Robin's son and Rick's son playing with them...

Rick's collection is incredible...

My cousin, older than me by 27 years grew up with them. Went to same School and she is still friends with them to this day. I met them when I was around 12 years old near the peak of their fame when I was visiting her with my mom. They are genuinely great people, very humble. Meeting Rick helped inspire me to get my first guitar.
I lived in Rockford as a kid and was there when they were starting to break. I remember a lot of the high school kids wearing Cheap Trick buttons.
I absolutely loved Rockford as a kid.

Man, I sure wished I'd had a cell phone back in the day when I worked at the Amphitheatre in my town in the 90's. I'd have a ton of snap shots of rigs.
